Google Ads Success: How To 'Finally' Get Your Google Ads Profitable
This guide will help demystify Social Marketing and get you ready for more followers, customers and a real community that want to know that you exist!
If you aren’t reaching out to influencers, you stand to lose a lot of money and fall behind the competition. With Influencers reaching an average 43% engagement rate on Instagram, you can boost sales with a relatively small investment.
For example, research suggests that working with 1 influencer can increase your sales by up to 65% in just one campaign. If you’re not doing so already, you need to start including influencer outreach in your campaigns.
We have built a list of Influencers we work with over the years and communicate with them regularly for our clients. Here is how you can start to build your influencer community on Social media.
Restaurant owners are spending $1 Billion a year on Influencer Marketing
A recent survey of restaurant owners reveals that they spent $1 Billion on influencer marketing in 2019. This is a huge jump from the year before, when they collectively spent $812 Million. This high-growth industry is expected to continue growing rapidly and could reach $2 Billion by 2022.
Influencer marketing is an effective form of advertising for restaurants because consumers trust third-party recommendations over advertisements. When consumers see an ad online or in person, they are likely to question whether it’s unbiased or if someone paid for it as advertising content. If a restaurant receives a positive review from an influencer who has never been paid by the business, then people will trust this recommendation more than any advertisement could ever earn them.
You may be leaving money on the table by not participating in the Influencer Marketing game, but do it the right way by capitalizing on Micro-Influencers.
We’ve all heard the term, “influencer marketing”. But what exactly is it? Simply put, it’s a method of advertising and promotion in which you work with influential people that have a following on social media.
This can be difficult for some businesses to understand because they don’t see how an individual person can influence their business or audience. However, there are several ways influencers can help your business grow:
- They create relevant content based on their experience with your product or service.
- They provide valuable insight into what type of advertising will resonate with their audience (i.e., you).
- They have already established trust within their community (i.e., you).
Here’s where things get interesting: micro-influencers are typically under 100k followers but offer incredible value for brands looking to target a specific niche audience! You may think that big numbers make all the difference when it comes to marketing yourself online…but think again!
What are Micro-Influencers?
Micro-influencers have between 1,000 and 100,000 followers. These influencers are more specialised and focused on the particular niche or topic they serve. They are also more engaged with their followers which makes them a better fit for your brand’s message if you’re looking for influencers who can deliver a specific message about a product or service. Not only do micro-influencers have fewer followers than traditional Influencers but they also tend to be easier to work with because they’re usually smaller businesses themselves so they’re more affordable and accessible than big name celebrities who often only work with high-end brands due to their huge asking prices.
Here’s how you find Influencers and Micro-Influencers who might be interested in promoting your restaurant or cafe.
Influencer marketing is an effective way to reach customers, but it can be tricky to find the right influencers. To make sure that you don’t miss out on any potential partnerships, we recommend making a list of keywords and phrases that relate to your restaurant or cafe, and then searching for them on Instagram.
For example:
- “Freshly baked bread” (one of our favorite meals)
- “Coffee shop on the Gold Coast” (we love all coffee shops)
- “Brisbane City restaurant” (we love restaurants in general)
How much should you pay an Influencer or Micro-Influencer to promote you?
You may be wondering how much to pay an influencer or micro-influencer to promote your business. Well, in general terms, it depends on their experience and the value that they bring to the table. A brand new influencer with very few followers will probably charge $100-300 for a single post about your product. An experienced influencer with 100,000 followers or more can charge anywhere from $200 up to $4000 or more for a single post about your product.
So if you’re looking for a discount price, it’s probably not going to happen unless you find someone who has just started out as an influencer and doesn’t yet have much experience (or many followers).
The keys to executing a successful influencer campaign.
- Do your homework: You need to do your research on the influencers you’re thinking of working with. Check their social media engagement and see if they have a history of posting sponsored content. If you feel like some influencers are inauthentic, that’s okay! Just find ones who fit with your brand values and message more closely.
- Make sure your influencers are a good fit: Sometimes we get excited by numbers alone, but there are other factors that may make an influencer less effective for your campaign. For example, if you’re targeting parents who want healthy snack recipes for their kids then an Instagrammer who posts fitness videos is probably not going to get much engagement from those people—plus their followers won’t care about what this person has to say anyway!
- Give them freedom: Don’t treat them like billboards by giving them strict guidelines on how they should share their experience through social media channels. Instead, encourage them to share whatever they want! The key here is finding someone who loves being involved with brands so much that they will promote themselves without any direction needed from businesses at all — which means everyone wins when it comes time for results tracking 🙂
